Fair Housing Certification – Annual Renewal

Stay compliant and up to date with AACSC’s annual Fair Housing Certification, presented by Denise Cato of the Fair Housing Council of Orange County. This comprehensive three-hour certification course is designed specifically for housing providers, on-site managers, and property management professionals who need to ensure full compliance with federal and state Fair Housing laws. 

Fair Housing certification is valid for one year. 

If your certification is nearing expiration, this is your opportunity to renew and ensure your team remains compliant and protected. 

Topics will include:

• Tenant screening and avoiding discriminatory practices 
• Understanding protected classes 
• Children, pets, service and support animals 
• Reasonable accommodations and modifications 
• Developing compliant management policies 
• The role of the Fair Housing Council as a resource Certification 

Requirements: 

• Full attendance for all three hours 
• Completion of the final test 
• Submission of the test via email with your name included 

Upon successful completion, certification will be issued by the Fair Housing Council of Orange County.
